Orphan Sponsorship Program (OSP) Urgent Appeal for Donations!

September 8, 2009

As the last few days of Ramadan (Month of Fasting) are approaching, what better way of earning the benefits of these important days than by helping an orphan?

The Orphan Sponsorship Program is currently sponsoring 131 orphans from over 20 countries. So far, we have only raised enough to re-sponsor around 21 orphans out of the 131.  We now require around $50,000 to re-sponsor the remaining 110 orphans for another year, so please help us continue this entirely volunteer student initiative!

Please donate generously to help those children who have no one else. We thank you if you have already sent in your donations and encourage you to spread the word, telling others to donate (the one who tells others to do good will be rewarded as the doer of the good)!

Donations can be made online via PayPal (see our link on the right-hand side), by cheque or cash donations at the MSA Iftaars (free dinner to break the fast) on campus, as well as at Friday/Jummah prayers on campus

Cheque or cash donations can also be passed to official OSP representatives.  Email us at osp.uoft@yahoo.ca for futher details and we can arrange for an OSP representative to meet with you at convenient date/location.

Thank you for your continued support!
